The Story of Garrison

Last Updated: April 03, 2014

Here is Garrison’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Garrison and his brother Manning came to us from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico. Both were petrified, covered in ticks, nasty mouth full of teeth, and filthy. Garrison broke away from the shelter transport team and luckily he has a guardian angel, he ran across a busy highway and back with no injuries, just scared to death.
“As scared as Garrison is, he is not a fear biter/nipper at all. Once he realizes you are “safe” he is loving and happy and jumps up and down for his attention. I believe he lived outside most of his life and isn’t sure of all the comforts he is given now.
“Garrison and his brother Manning, besides being scared of the world, not used to being indoors, and not liking each other, have very sweet personalities, once they determine you are safe. Never even with the fear has Garrison tried to nip, bite or even growl or raise a lip. Astounding how truly sweet he really is…”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Garrison get up to speed on his health care, including a clean and healthy mouth, so he can go forward into the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
Garrison was rescued in Arizona.
