Here is Katie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Katie lived with her Mom and they moved out here from PA. Katie’s Mom died unexpectedly and Katie was alone with her for 10 hours before they were found. She was very skittish.
“Family and friends could not take care of Katie, so they contacted us. Upon her vet exam, we found Katie to have very bad teeth, infection and a slab fracture.
“After her initial shyness and confusion, Miss Katie came out of her shell and is a sweetheart!! She gives “tea parties” with her toys..actually sits them all around her water dish every night as if having a party…so cute!!”
