Here is Pixie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Sweet little Pixie was just hours away from being put to death in a gas chamber in a rural dog pound. She was scared and kept her face to the wall, making the few people who did come in to adopt pass her by. The personnel there only handled the dogs using catch poles and boots and Miss Pixie was terrified. Within 10 minutes of her coming into my home and getting her first cookie, in true corgi fashion, she came alive! She is a wonderful dog. Already housetrained and spayed. A super sweet girl. Unfortunately, she has Lyme and ehrlicia and needs treatment for both before she can be placed for adoption.”
CorgiAid supporters are helping Pixie get healthy, so she can go forward into the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Pixie was rescued in Oklahoma.
