Here’s Violet’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Violet was picked up as stray and after completing her stray hold at the shelter came into rescue. We thought she was going to be an easy in and out, spay, vaccinations and adopt. She was spayed and the next day became very very ill and required hospitalization. The vet believes she may have aspirated vomit during while intubated and developed pneumonia. She is doing well now, but the easy in and out was not our reality.”
