Here is Bear’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“I rescued Bear from the Lancaster Animal Shelter, part the the Los Angeles County system. He was turned in by his owner. Unfortunately he was not neutered, and has Cushings disease along with pneumonia.
“After a month and a half on 3 antibiotics, he is finally over the uri. He was neutered yesterday along with getting his teeth cleaned. He is doing very well. Because of his age we are not putting him on the very tricky medications for the Cushings.
“He gets along with the other foster dogs and cats! He sleeps inside and is well behaved.”
