The Story of Chap |
Last Updated: October 26, 2015
Here is Chap’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Chap was surrendered to the shelter in Tucson, owners said they were moving and could not take him with them. They did supply enough info to tell us he lived strictly outside with the chickens and the goats. What they did not supply was why he had a shaved leg already. When we performed his labwork, we found he is heartworm positive.
“One of the sweetest boys ever….being an outside only dog, we are working on housebreaking, but that is his only fault….such a sweet even-tempered, loving boy.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Chap get up to speed on his health care, including getting rid of those nasty heartworms. Thank you!
Chap was rescued in Arizona.
