Here is Jaina’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“We received an urgent request for help via email asking our rescue to ‘come get the corgi that showed up… seems friendly with people…sheriff’s office said we should just let it go or shoot it.’ Needless to say, we were scrambling to try to get this dog to safety.
“Thankfully, the lady that found her didn’t want to shoot her (Geez!), contacted us, and we have a great rescue friend that was able to drop everything to go get the dog for us.
“When Jaina came into rescue, she was in season and covered in fleas, but generally healthy only needing the basic healthcare including being spayed. We tried to find an owner, but nobody came forward for this little girl.
“She loves people, but doesn’t like all dogs.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Jaina get up to speed on her health care, so she can move on into the next happy chapter of her life. Thank you!
