Here is Max’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Max was the victim of a divorce, he was given to the woman’s mother. Being retired and on a fixed income, she could not care for the dog.
“Max came in on a Rx for constipation. When I noticed the size of his stools, a ball larger than a golf ball, I had the vet check him out for related issues. He immediately diagnosed him with a perineal hernia. We scheduled surgery within the week. The vet discovered that he had had this surgery before, but it was poorly done and failed.
“Max is a super no-hassle guy. He is a major toy collector, if it makes noise. Always takes one with him wherever he goes, even out in the yard.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Max with the expense of getting his hernia repaired. Thank you!
Max was rescued in Texas.
