The Story of Sparks

Last Updated: December 24, 2015

Rescuer: Gail Hefley at jandg3216@gmail.com

Here is Sparks’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Sparks was hit by a pickup truck that didn’t even bother to stop after hitting him. Luckily, there are kind people in the world. A good Samaritan stopped, feared the worst, but was shocked to see that this little boy was alive. He was taken to the animal shelter and provided veterinary care by the local humane society. We were called and asked to take Sparks so that he could recover, and to search for an owner.

“Remarkably, Sparks only had bruising, minor abrasions, and soreness. We tried everything we know to do to find an owner, and no one has come forward.”

CorgiAid supporters have helped Sparks get checked out after his close encounter with a truck. He is feeling much better now. Thank you!

Sparks was rescued in Texas.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Gail Hefley at jandg3216@gmail.com for more information.
