The Story of Babe/Daisy

Last Updated: December 27, 2016

Here is Daisy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“We received a call that a corgi/mini Aussie mix needed to come to rescue. Her owner passed away and the family needed to make arrangements for her right away or she would have to go the shelter. We gassed up the car, picked up coffee and headed out late in the evening to pick her up. A few hours later, she was safe in rescue.

“She’s as sweet as can be.

“She needed a dental and a cyst on the top of her head removed.

“Her potential adopters turned out to be her adopters and great folks. They also happened to be going to Stillwater, Ok for Thanksgiving…which by chance was exactly where we were going for agility the day after Thanksgiving. So, we hauled her along with us. Her new family was there at the hotel, waiting to pick up Babe. As her new dad said, ‘It was just fate that we were going to the same place.’

“Babe is doing great and is now known as Daisy.”

CorgiAid supporters have helped Babe/Daisy get up to speed on her health care, including getting rid of the bump on her head, and having her mouth
