Here’s Jeter’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Jeter was sent to rescue after the arrival of a human baby. Jeter is a sweet energetic 6 year old who was already neutered and vaccinated and appeared healthy. Shortly after arriving to his foster home, he began to vomit and show signs that there was something wrong. After a good physical examination it was determined that Jeter has a pretty bad bladder infection and was also probably a little nervous about the sudden change in his environment. He’s now been treated for the infection, and tested for heartworm (negative!).”
