The Story of Nibbler

Last Updated: December 23, 2016

Rescuer: Cheng Qian at peterqiancheng@gmail.com

CorgiAid’s primary goal is to help homeless corgis get healthy, so they can find permanent loving homes. In cases where the dog is adopted with a condition that clearly existed at the time of rescue, CorgiAid may be able to help if an application is filled out within two weeks of adoption.

Nibbler had some sort of heart issue when he was adopted. His new family took him to their vet, who recommended a consultation with a veterinary cardiologist.

The cardiologist found that Nibbler was born with three separate heart defects. The good news is that Nibbler seems to be doing well despite his heart issues. The cardiologist feels it’s best to leave well enough alone. Nibbler will be on heart meds for his life, but is not in need of surgery.

CorgiAid supporters have helped Nibbler with his visit to a specialist and with his meds. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
