The Story of Stella

Last Updated: September 15, 2016

Here is Stella’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Stella was found as a stray. No one came forward to claim ownership after her hold stay ended, and she was brought into rescue. Her known issues at the time of rescue were obesity and a large tumor under her tongue, which kept her from being able to close her mouth.

“Stella was already house trained, and has adapted well in her foster home. It is apparent at one time she was well taken care of.

“The mass was removed from under her tongue and sent to a pathology lab for biopsy, which was negative.”

Having received the excellent news that the tumor was benign, Stella went back to the vet for more care.

“Stella’s ears were cleaned, she received her needed vaccines, she was spayed, the remainder of the tumor under the tongue and a mammary tumor were removed, and her teeth were cleaned with some extracted.”

CorgiAid supporters helped Stella get the medical care she needed in order to get ready to find a new family and live the happy life she deserves. Thank you!

Stella was rescued in South Carolina.
