Here is Springer’s story, in the words of her rescuer:

“Springer came to me when her owner surrendered her as the owner felt she was no longer able to give Springer a good home. Springer was the dog of her husband, who died recently.

“She’s a total sweetheart, even when being poked and prodded to clean her anal glands. She just wiggles, never snaps.”
