Here is Suki’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Suki came in with an eye in bad shape. We didn’t know if it was going to have to be removed or not. She had developed a corneal ulcer due to her dry eye condition being left untreated. She has virtually no tear production in her left eye and will require a lifetime of eye medications, eye wash, etc. Her right eye will need drops as well.
“She also has a broken tooth. It is not bothering her right now, so we are leaving it alone for now, but it will probably need to be addressed in the future.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Suki get the health care she needed, including help with diagnosing and stabilizing her dry eyes. Thank you!
Suki was rescued in Texas.
