The Story of Cinnamon

Last Updated: January 04, 2019

Here is Cinnamon’s story, in the words of her rescuer:

“Cinnamon came into rescue with 4 other female corgis, surrendered from a breeder. We were told that she had developed back issues, possibly a problem with a spinal disc, when pregnant. This caused an inability to walk, and the breeder’s vet prescribed prednisone. Cinnamon was only able to walk when taking this medication. Upon coming into rescue, X-rays revealed that Cinnamon’s back and spine are normal. However, she has some hip dysplasia, and her ‘knees’ have torn cruciate ligaments, possibly due to a congenital malformation.

“Cinnamon is a sweet and gentle dog, in spite of the pain in her back legs.”

CorgiAid supporters will help Cinnamon with her health care needs, so she can move forward into a happier healthier chapter of life. Thank you!
