The Story of Bella |

This is Bella’s story:
Bella was surrendered to rescue by her owners as they said she was peeing all over the house and she shed too much. When she was picked up, her coat was sparse and what was left was matted to the skin with open sores under the mats. Her belly was the shape of a basketball – which is usually indicative of Cushings Disease. After testing, she was indeed diagnosed with Cushings, which is why she had been drinking and urinating so much. She was shaved to help her shedding. She is the sweetest little girl, gets along with other dogs, is well mannered and loves people. Now that the disease is under control, she is perfectly housetrained, she will be on meds for the rest of her life and will be loved in her permanent foster home.
