The Story of Duncan

Duncan at just three years old was surrendered to rescue when a new baby arrived in his family and they were fearful of having a dog around the baby. Duncan is a sweet dog and learning his basic manners quickly. Unfortunately, after just a few days in rescue, he began defecating blood, a lot of blood. He was dehydrated and lethargic and there was suspicion of a bowel blockage. He received fluids and a scan was performed at the ER. Thankfully, no bowel blockage, but an irritated bowel/colon. Duncan has received all the care he needs, and is recovering in his foster home.
