Gus

Gus was surrendered by his owner five days after he had been purchased from a backyard breeder. The owner was upset that he was not housebroken. Gus was an intact male brought into a home with another intact male – he was not set-up for success.

Gus underwent the usual general tests, was vaccinated, microchipped and put on preventative treatment for heartworm. He required his dewclaws to be removed, he was neutered and for a dog of only 15 months, his teeth were in terrible condition and he required a dental cleaning and polishing.
While he may not have had the best start – he wisely wiggled his way into his rescuers heart and was adopted by them.
