The Story of Monty

Last update 11/27/2024
Monty was surrendered by a ‘breeder’ along with 2 other corgis to a rural shelter in Georgia. Corgi Rescue was contacted for placement, due to all shelters and rescues over burdened with dogs. Monty was found to have an undescended testicle, so his neuter surgery was a bit more invasive than most. Monty was examined, received additional doses of preventatives, and had bloodwork completed. He had his neuter surgery, dental x-rays, and a back molar was extracted which required a gingival flap. He was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication and is doing well.
