The Story of Oso

Last update 07/29/2026

Oso was turned into a shelter by his owner due to landlord conflicts. He had been with his owner since he was a puppy. Oso had a yeast infection in both ears and required treatment. He also needed to get a leptospirosis booster shot, a fecal test and a distemper booster. Oso would not allow the groomer to clip his nails so it required sedative issued by the vet with their grooming to do his nails. He was also given preventative treatments for heartworm, fleas and ticks.
