| The Story of Rhett |
Last update 07/29/202
Rhett was turned into a shelter because the owners had too many kids and too many dogs. There was supposedly a bite. The shelter called a corgi rescue. Supposedly, Rhett nipped a child. However, when the animal control officer went to the home to investigate, there was no bite. He was placed in a foster home with two boys, 6 and 8 years. He loves them and they love him.
Rhett was a cryptorchid and when he was being neutered, they found he had a tumor growing on the receded testicle. Testing confirmed Sertoli cell cancer. The vet got wide margins and everyone is hopeful that the cancer will not return. Rhett has a great temperament. There have been no issues. He walked into his foster like, well here I am. They adopted him.
