Foxtrot

The Story of Foxtrot

Foxtrot came into rescue, because of stress from her original family’s toddler. They were also expecting their second child and felt Foxtrot needed more time and attention than they could give her. She had a skin condition and it was worsening due to the stress. The skin condition requires daily treatment and visits to a vet specializing in dermatology twice a year. It is caused by zinc deficiency which is managed with a steroid pill, daily fish oil and zinc supplement pills. She was in need of a dental when the rescue got her, and two teeth were extracted. She also had a mass removed from her foot which was biopsied and thankfully, was benign.
