The Story of Emma

Last Updated: August 10, 2021

Emma came to rescue when her owner went into a care facility for dementia. Her sons were unable to care for her, they had no idea of her age, health, etc. They were told she was 12 – 13 yrs old, but when they received her files, found out she was 15 years old. Emma is a sweet and lovable girl. Once Emma started her medical workup, they found she has congestive heart failure, kidney failure, liver issues and of course, arthritis. Emma is having her pain and discomfort managed. Her prognosis is poor but she will live out her days in the loving care of her foster home.
