The Story of Roxy

Last Updated: November 26, 2020

This is Roxy’s story:
Roxy came into rescue with Ferdi AKA Remi. They were surrendered to rescue who were told they were 6 years old and in good health. When the fosters picked them up, Roxy was barely walking and continued to go downhill quickly. They got her to the vet just in time. After tests and examination, it was learned that Roxy had many rotten teeth and advanced dental disease, a large abscess on her neck, a sore on her rear leg, was anemic due to flea infestation and she was underweight due to not eating for days, if not longer prior to getting into rescue. Roxy was able to receive the care she needed to attend to her many issues.
