The Story of Chewie

Last Updated: January 05, 2020

Here is Chewie’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Chewie was taken to a vet after someone witnessed him being hit by a car. The driver did not stop. He was found to have a broken fibula (2 places), enteral worms and tested positive for heartworms.

“Chewie is an obese, intact male corgi with heartworms and a broken fibula. He will be neutered once found to be healthy enough for surgery.”

CorgiAid supporters are helping Chewie get the health care he needs, so he can go forward and lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
