The Story of Sailor

Last Updated: March 28, 2018

We all hope that every rescue story can have a happy ending. Unfortunately, that is just not possible.

Tissue alert.

Sailor came into rescue with a history of scary behavior. He made serious attempts to bite several experienced dog people.

Here is Sailor’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“I had him for three days. There was no way that he could be trusted. He would go from wanting attention to full mouth teeth baring in a split second. I suspected a neurological problem. I took him to our vet. She came to the same conclusion, adding it was probably breeding and perhaps a neurological issue, with poor handling by original owners thrown into the mix.”

CorgiAid is not able to help dogs who are dangerous to people, except with euthanasia. Poor Sailor will no longer fall into rages, and will not be a danger to anyone. Rest in peace, little guy.
