The Story of Cooter

Last Updated: November 21, 2013

Rescuer: Jeanne Roberts at bark3times@gmail.com

Here is Cooter’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“He was found as a stray by another local all-breed rescue. That rescue, knowing that I rescued Corgis, asked if I would take him. I notified local animal control that the dog was found as a stray. The ACO instructed me to hold him for 3-5 days & preferred I house him in my own kennel rather that at the pound. I did so for more than the required days (actually about 2 weeks. I was also to place a ‘found’ ad in the local paper. I did so, as well as an ad with Craiglist. No owner has been found. Animal Control has given the ok for me to find Cooter a new home. No other history known. 🙁 ”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Cooter get up to speed on his basic health care, including getting a clean and healthy mouth. Thank you!
Cooter was rescued in Tennessee.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Jeanne Roberts at bark3times@gmail.com for more information.
