The Story of Chili

Last Updated: April 04, 2011

Rescuer: Lindy Bezdek at rescue1@northtxwelshcorgis.org

“Chili was found as a stray the first week of January. When a club member went to the shelter to pick up a 3 year old corgi, they asked if we could take him also. He had been at the shelter for over a month and they had not contacted us.
“Chili is a very special guy.
“He was in horrible condition when he came to us, very thin and we had blood work done. The vet feels like he is a Cushings dog, but shows no symptoms. His knees are bad and we have him on rymadil. It helps him be more comfortable when he walks around. He is HW positive but is not in condition to be treated, so is on preventative for a slow kill.
“His condition has improved dramatically since he has been with us.
“If a special family came along that would like to provide a home for him we would let him be adopted.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Chili get up to speed on his health care, so he can be as comfortable and happy as possible. Thank you!
Chili is in Texas.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Lindy Bezdek at rescue1@northtxwelshcorgis.org for more information.
