The Story of Stanley

Last Updated: August 15, 2009

Stanley is a homeless corgi who has been helped while in a shelter.
Here is his story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Stanley was a stray. He came to us with very bad injury. The vet feels it may have been a snake bite.He had a very bad maggot infestation over most of his back and after that was cleared up from mid back down and under including his genital are was open and raw. He has gone through many treatments for those injuries and has never lost his good nature.
“Stanley is a great dog and May Flower Corgi Rescue has taken him into their foster program and are continuing his treatment and when he is ready for adoption he will be placed with an appropriate corgi home.
“I have been an ACO for 17+ years and this is one of the most severe injuries and miraculous recoveries I have seen. In addition to that Stanley is one of the most wonderful dogs I have had the pleasure of saving.”
CorgiAid supporters will help with Stanley’s recovery, so that he live the healthy life he deserves. Thank you!
