The Story of Krissy

Last Updated: September 08, 2006

Rescuer: Diane Myers at bdmyers@corgisncritters.org

Corgi rescue received a call from a small all-breed rescue in Austin. They had gone in to take 4 other dogs out of a shelter where the dogs are housed outside. Krissy crawled up in the rescuers lap and cuddled. The shelter worked attempted to take her away, because she has a heavy heartworm burden, but Krissy wanted to stay with the rescuer. Fortunately, the rescuer knew a great dog when she saw her and took Krissy knowing she hadn’t the space to foster her, or the funds to treat her. Corgi rescue felt Krissy deserved a chance, so we took her into our program. She is super sweet and will make someone a lovely pet.
CorgiAid supporters will help Krissy get rid of those nasty heartworms, so that she can get healthy and look for her forever home. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Diane Myers at bdmyers@corgisncritters.org for more information.
