The Story of Maggie

Last update 11/30/2023
Maggie was found hanging out at a hotel in Texas and was picked up by animal control. A couple who had seen a post about her from Corgi rescue, stepped up and agreed to foster her and pulled her directly from the shelter. After being spayed, Maggie broke with distemper. The rescue made the decision to treat her and the outcome has been very good. She survived and so far, has not shown any neurological issues. Unfortunately, that can change in the future but believe she will live a great quality of life. She’s doing just that right now with her new family. Maggie had tests, preventative treatments, was spayed, had her vaccinations, and was treated for distemper with hospitalization at both the emergency clinic and regular vet.
