| The Story of Jackson |
Last update 03/23/2025
Jackson was recently relinquished to me when his owners could no longer keep up with his needs. They got him from a prolific BYB in our area when he was a puppy and they have since had a child and now have 3 cats. Jackson has never adapted to the cats and is too rambunctious for their child, so he has been living outside. The major concern for me and why I accepted him into rescue is that he has some underlying health conditions that need to be addressed: He has a chronic issue on his nose that was not remedied with antibiotics. His coat is also in poor condition. His owners mentioned that he may have Lupus but they were not in a financial situation to be able to do any further diagnostics.
