The Story of Bennett

Last Updated: January 26, 2014

Rescuer: Walton Salley at salleyw@bellsouth.net

Here is Bennett’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Bennett was purchased by a family who had two young boys in 2003. Typical with a rescue dog, the boys grew up, had other interests and Bennett has spent the past 10 years as an outside dog with little to no attention. I picked him up on 11/5/2013 & he has acclimated beautifully to a normal life with lots of love, guidelines set and a part of my pack. I should NOT foster dogs that often…. I came VERY close to being a Foster Failure with this sweetheart. He has been placed in a wonderful home in Atlanta with a 67 yr old gent who lost his corgi last year.”
Bennett needed to get his mouth cleaned up, and needed all the rest of the care you’d expect, after such a long period of neglect. Luckily he did not have heartworm!
CorgiAid supporters helped Bennett get the care he needed, to be ready to move into the happy retirement he deserves. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
