The Story of Erin

Last update 03/31/2025

The rescue received a call from a woman whose husband brought Erin home and said that he was going to get a boy and breed her. The woman said no and called rescue to take Erin in, and she was picked up by a foster caregiver. She was taken to the vet and she was dehydrated and had a fever and there was concern she might have kidney issues. She had several tests and was given fluids and after a couple of days given care, her bloodwork came back fine. Erin required flea/tick Prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, Spaying, and vaccinations. She is now healthy, is a great little girl and will hopefully find her forever home soon.
