In loving memory of Billie – 13 years old, went to the Rainbow Bridge April 9, 2007
Billie was an amazing dog who touched so many people during her life. Everyone who met her could tell she was something special, especially with those huge ears!!
Billie came into my life at my lowest point, when everything seemed dark and I didn’t care about anything anymore. She loved me when I was too down and out to love myself, and brought the light and joy back into my life. Billie taught me how to how to live again, how to be happy, and how to love another being so completely. She saved my life, and will always be my Guardian Angel.
She was lucky enough to have two of the most caring and thoughtful vets watching over her in her battle with cancer. With the help of her doctors, she was able to fight back and beat the odds for so long. When it was time to let her go, they came to our home, where Billie was most comfortable. I can never thank them enough for allowing my friends and family to say goodbye to her in such a beautiful and touching way.
I am lost without her in my life, and remember her every minute of every day. I am a better person for having her in my life, and hope I grow up to be half the person she believed I could be.
Billie, my Baby Girl, I will miss you always!
