Bubba Fincher August 16, 2004 – February 26, 2018
As many of you know, David Fincher lost his beloved Bubba on February 26, 2018. Bubba came into David’s life in 2007- and completely turned David’s life upside down. They connected with a bond so close that brought love, joy and companionship to each other. The last three years of Bubba’s life he battled DM. David was the warrior alongside Bubba and also the tender loving Dad to tend to his needs. Bubba was a happy guy who loved sharing everyday with his Dad. In June of 2017, Bubba lost the use of his front legs, after having lost the use of his rear ones previously. It was then that David knew his time was starting to come to an end. He bravely fought on for eight more months. But on February 26, he looked at his Dad and told him through that look …..it was time for him to go. Though it broke David’s heart, because he loved Bubba so much, he knew must do what was best for Bubba.
