I didn’t think my heart could break anymore after losing Morgan, Benny and Bellah but we had to have Merlin put to sleep. He was in his cart for a year and nine months. He was getting weaker we could tell he wasn’t happy anymore.
I am so sick of putting dogs to sleep. Billy and I are heartbroken he was born here we absolutely loved him he was the kindest, gentlest dog everyone loved him and he loved everyone he was the best with our grandkids.
Billy and I have been married 41 years we have never just had one dog. We just have Robbie now he’s also showing some signs and symptoms of DM. This disease is a nightmare. I will never own another corgi unless it’s been DNA tested. What this does to the dog, not to mention the heartbreak of seeing what it does to your dog is not something I ever want to go through again.
Merlin run free big guy we love you and will miss.
