Wesley’s life began when he was rescued as a senior special needs corgi by his foster mom, Marty Stewart, in March 2003, and then adopted by Bobbie Mayer in May 2003.
In spite of his disabilities which included deafness, a disk injury, and a kidney removal, Wesley was always full of life and eager to take on the world. In his short time with us he gave us much joy and touched many people.
Two days after his diagnosis of lung cancer, Wesley died peacefully in his sleep on September 26, 2003.
