The Story of Elsa

Elsa came into rescue in March of this year. Her owner had passed and she’d gone to a family member who neglected her medical needs. Another family member intervened, got Elsa to a vet for treatment and contacted rescue for help with Elsa’s future needs. Not all rescues have a happy ending, as Elsa was in renal failure and also had a skin condition related to her diet. Elsa spent the last months of her life in hospice care at her foster’s where she was cared for and loved until she passed.
