The Story of Scarlet

Last Updated: February 28, 2017

Here is Scarlet’s story, in the words of her rescuer:

“Scarlet was found on rural Illinois road by two boys. They took her to the local small town vet. She had a seriously injured front leg. The vet wanted to remove the leg, but there was no owner to pay. They called us. They removed the leg, spayed her, and gave her a HW test. I picked her up the next day. She went to a loving foster home, and our vet continued her care.

“Scarlet is one of those dogs that could almost be considered too affectionate. She is a lover, but does like to chase critters and play with her toys.”

CorgiAid supporters have helped Scarlet recover from her horrible injury and the aftermath. Thank you! She is doing so much better now!
