The Story of Lucy

Last Updated: November 12, 2012

Here is Lucy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“She came from the shelter. She was picked up as a stray. After a 4 day stray hold nobody claimed her and she was released for adoption. She is underweight, covered in fleas (being treated) and tested positive on 10/24/12 for heartworm.
“She passed her temperament tests with flying colors. A super sweet girl. She met my Corgi and showed that she is the Alpha dog. She played all morning with a Beagle and they fell asleep together. Great with people and just wants to be loved on forever.”
CorgiAid supporters are helping Lucy get rid of those nasty heartworms. Thank you!
Lucy was rescued in Indiana.
