The Story of Maddie |

Here is Maddie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Maddie’s original owner committed suicide and her parents couldn’t keep the dog, due to reminding them of their daughter too much. She was given away to a gentleman who thought she would make a great pet, but his 9 year old son was highly allergic, to the point of hospitalization, so they contacted AZCCR to take her in.
“Very well mannered young lady. She is an AROOOER when she’s greeting you. Unfortunately, her one downside is her tail dock was too close and so she leaves a “trail” after defecating and needs her bum wiped/washed at least once a daily. She fits in with all dogs, plays so well with others, enjoys her pets, does not jump on furniture, is smart and a joy to have around.
“Maddie is the ‘perfect’ little girl. Other than bad teeth, which we have taken care of and her “poop chute” issues, she is one of the easiest going, very friendly, plays well with others, rescue we have had in in a long time.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Maddie get healthy, so she can lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Maddie was rescued in Arizona.
