The Story of Lola

Last Updated: September 22, 2012

Rescuer: Barbara Blume at blumebb@yahoo.com

Here is Lola’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Lola came in from Montgomery Co AS near Houston. She was just coming out of her heat cycle and was found with a male so we immediately spayed her. Since she was heartworm positive, we started her on ivermectin for the required three months before treatment.
“Lola has a skin condition that causes her coat to be waxy. Since she was already prescribed steroids for her heartworm treatment, we didn’t have any extra cost there. We are also putting her on a fish oil capsule for treatment of this. We hope to clear this up before she is adopted.
“Lola is a cute little – almost doodle bug girl. She is cuddly and sweet, gets along with some other dogs, so should be ok in a home with males.”
CorgiAid will help Lola get healthy, including getting rid of those nasty heartworms, so she can go forward and lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Lola was rescued in Texas.

This dog is not available for adoption.
