The Story of Cody

Last Updated: May 11, 2007

Rescuer: Mary Chatman at maryslittlelambs@ca.rr.com

Cody was rescued from Lancaster, Ca Animal Shelter on April 26, 2007. He became violently ill on the evening of April 29,2007, vomiting, diarrhea, not eating, listlessness. He was immediately taken to Bermar Pet Hospital where he was examined by Dr. Jonathan Bernstein and diagnosed as having parvo.
Parvo is a very nasty viral infection. There is no specific treatment for it — the dog’s body is given every support while it fights the infection. Vaccination will prevent most cases — please be sure your dogs are up-to-date on their shots!
CorgiAid supporters helped Cody recover. Thank you!
His rescuer says he is a sweet and gentle dog, and she has a family interested in him.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Mary Chatman at maryslittlelambs@ca.rr.com for more information.
