The Story of Duke

Last Updated: September 01, 2005

Rescuer: Carolyn Brickner at cbrickner@hotmail.com

Duke was rescued from a Missouri puppy mill on December 3, 2004. He was on the production line his entire life. He is microchipped, just need to have the vet scan for the number.
Duke is a quiet dog, great with other dogs and people, likes to be outside, and has some medical problems. He has a very gentle disposition, sweet, and loves to be next to you.
Duke needs to be neutered and he is heartworm positive. He also has a 1/6 heart murmur. We will know the extent when x-rays are done Monday and then the vet will advise treatment which will mean one week in the vet hospital and 6-8 weeks of recuperation at home. He will also need dental workup. He will need to get current on vaccines, rabies.

CorgiAid supporters will help Duke get healthy, so he can look for his forever home. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
