The Story of Barney

Last Updated: January 20, 2005

Barney has premature closure of left distal radial growth plate, but it is not a problem at this time. He had infected fractured upper canine and growth in mouth as well as severe infestation of ear mites with secondary ear infection. Was also treated for tape worms and put on diet for obesity. He was approx 20 pounds over weight, but has lost 8 pounds since Thanksgiving.
Barney recently had a growth removed from above his eye previously thought to be a cyst, but when it started getting bigger was determined it needed to be removed and sent in for histopath. Barney is a great dog and once he gets over all his long term neglect medical issues will make someone a wonderful companion. He has lost 8 pounds since he came to our home on Novemeber 21, 2004.
CorgiAid supporters have helped with the expense of getting that nasty growth removed from Barney’s face. He is on his way to feeling better so he will be able to look for his forever family.
Thank you!
