The Story of Beau

Last Updated: April 05, 2005

Rescuer: Arleen Rooney at azpledge@yahoo.com

Beau was an owner surrender due to loss of interest. He had been penned outside for the last 5 years, had not been neutered and when he came into rescue he had diahrea and blood in his feces and was thin and constantly urinating.
Due to the constant urination, blood in the loose stool and the raw behind, Beau was taken to the vet right away. Bloodwork was done for testing for parasites and heartworm and both were negative. Urinalysis showed urinary tract infection. Antibiotics were prescribed for two weeks. Neutering was done 3/31/05 after antibiotic treatment was completed. Dog is now eating well, has no excessive urination and feces is normal. Beau was also vaccinated on 3/26/05 and microchipped on 3/23/05.
CorgiAid supporters are helping Beau get healthy so he can look for his forever home. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Arleen Rooney at azpledge@yahoo.com for more information.
