The Story of Royver

Last Updated: November 01, 2002

Royver, a thirteen-year-old male, was surrendered to a shelter. According to the shelter, his previous owners were an older couple who didn’t have much money. They had to choose between the wife’s medical bills and the dogs. The wife won. They were also afraid that one of them would trip and fall over the dog as he has a tendency to follow you everywhere and stand right behind you.
Donna Stewart heard about this through Petfinder and rescued the dog. A vet checkup revealed he had congestive heart failure, and very poor teeth. Donna came to CorgiAid for help with the dental surgery required. When his teeth are better, it will help the CHF. The CHF can be treated with Lasix and Fokitor. CorgiAid was glad to help.
