Arby

This dog was found lying in a ditch outside of Little Rock, Arkansas by a kind person. She kept him for six weeks and tried to find an owner but was unsuccessful. He was then taken in by North Texas Corgi Rescue.
Arby is HUGE. He needs to be dieted down before heartworm treatment can begin as the vet feels that it would put too much strain on his lungs to do heartworm treatment at his current weight. She did say that even if he was dieted down, his going to be a very over-sized Pem and will probably weigh between 40 and 45 lbs at his ideal weight. His foster mom will try dieting him for 30 days prior to a new evaluation to see if he can begin heartworm treatment.
Arby will be attending the health spa in Texas for some time, getting slim and healthy. Then he will be looking for a family to love him enough to say “no!” when those big brown eyes beg for treats.
